How many pages would a Complete Guide to Day Trading need to be in order to be deemed “complete”…  50, 100, 500, 1000?  Well, according to Markus Heitkoetter of Rockwell Trading, it takes 296 pages.  Markus compiled his thoughts on Day Trading in a “Guide” format inside a 296 e-book.  We thought it might be helpful to spell out a few of the key ingredients to trading that he covers which should provide value to all types of traders.  This guide is broken into three parts:

I. Day Trading Basics – What You Should Know

II. Your Trading Strategy – The Cornerstone to Your Trading Success

III.  The Secrets to Day Trading Success

Markus touches on the following points throughout the e-book that we find are essential to any trader regardless of the markets they trade:

  • The Importance of Journaling
  • Emotions and Your trading
  • Risk/Return and Your Trading
  • Timeframe and Historical Patterns
  • Which Intstruments Provide Opportunities
  • MACD
  • Bollinger Bands
  • Other Statistical Analysis
  • The right number of Trading Rules to Employ
  • Rockwell’s Approach to Risk Management
  • Defining Entry and Exit Points

Hi, You missed the most imported part to be treated in your book and that is “Portion sizing”. When will you include that chapter in your book? The rest of the book’s chapters are well known throughout the investment community.
    Thank you for your response.
